Breakfast in Full
View of the Pyramids

This is the reason our guests come back. Every morning between 7:00 and 10:00, breakfast is served on our open rooftop terrace — with the Great Pyramids standing clear on the horizon in front of you. No detour, no ticket, no queue. Just coffee, warm bread, and one of the oldest views on earth.

It's a slow, unhurried start to the day, and it's where our guests tend to meet each other, compare notes and plan where to go next. The terrace stays open all day, so it's also the place to come back to for tea in the afternoon or to watch the light change over the plateau at dusk.

  • Included free with every stay — no extra charge
  • Served every morning, 7:00 – 10:00 AM
  • Fresh Egyptian breakfast, prepared to order
  • Clear, unobstructed view of the Pyramids from the terrace

Questions We Get Asked

Everything travellers usually want to know before their first trip to Egypt. Still unsure about something? Message us — we answer in five languages.

Do you offer airport pickup?

Yes. We can collect you from Cairo International Airport for $20. Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, so there's no negotiating with taxis and no guesswork after a long flight. Just send us your flight number on WhatsApp once you've booked.

Is the area safe at night?

Very. Al Haram is a busy, lively neighbourhood — there are people on the street at all hours and the shops stay open late. Guests walk to nearby cafés and restaurants in the evening without any trouble. If you'd ever rather not walk, our team will arrange a trusted driver for you.

Can I walk to the Pyramids from the guest house?

Yes — it's about a 15-minute walk. If you'd rather not walk, we can drop you there for a small fee, and often we'll take you for free. Just ask at reception.

What payment methods do you accept?

All of them. Cash, credit and debit cards — whatever is easiest for you. You pay at the guest house, so there is nothing to arrange before you arrive.

What's included in breakfast? Are there vegetarian options?

Breakfast is a traditional Egyptian spread served on the rooftop from 7:00 to 10:00 AM: ful, ta'ameya (falafel), omelette, cheese, fresh vegetables and bread, with tea or coffee to your taste and a bottle of water. Vegetarian options are always available — just let us know. It's included free with every stay.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?

Of course. You're welcome to leave your bags in the lobby, whether you have a late flight or want one more day exploring Cairo. There's no charge.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Early check-in can be arranged for 50% of the nightly rate, subject to availability — message us in advance and we'll do our best.

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Most visitors can get a tourist visa on arrival at the airport — there's no need to apply before you travel. Requirements do vary by nationality, so it's worth checking with your local Egyptian embassy before flying.

Do I have to pay in advance to book?

No. There's no deposit and no card required — we don't take any payment until you arrive. That also means you can cancel at any time, free of charge. Booking direct with us is also 10% cheaper than the booking sites.
